Join a good alliance quickly.  You usually do not have to be in the same region as your alliance. You can accept the “newbie” package which contains a city teleporter. (Click on the gift icon at the top left of the Evony window.) The city teleporter will allow you to teleport or move your city to the same region as your alliance. Later on you will get a second package called the “Lords” package which is available when you reach Town Hall level 4. The Lords package will  contain an additional city teleporter.  For every city you move you will need a city teleporter.

The city teleporter teleports you to a random location within the region.  An advanced teleporter is needed if you want to move to a specific location in a region.

Unless you are a total newbie and have no clue what is going on, it is better to wait until a day or two before BP expires before joining an alliance. Work on building prestige and watch the alliance stats page to get an idea which alliances are moving up and which are moving down and which ones have sister alliances. Look for an active alliance with lots of honor (more important than prestige on an alliance level) because these are the guys out there fighting and winning. They will also be more likely to come to your defense if you need it for they will have the troops and are itching for a fight.

yup… but the problem is if that big alliance will accept a newbie. Most alliance set a minimum requirement, just like my alliance, we have 100K prestige min… other bigger alliances have 200K, 500K and even 1M prestige requirements… if your just beginning.. even if you’re really good, you can have atmost 10K to 15K prestige at most after the 7 days BP…

    Rajah,

Your comment doesn’t make any sense.

If it is a new server where most new players go, then they don’t have a lot of high prestige players. Most players will have only been playing less than a month so you’re not going to have people with 1 million prestige.

Even if it is an established server and the big alliances have high minimums there will still be alliances that new players can join. There will always be smaller alliances on the server that are looking for new people… maybe someone who is a top player got frustrated with their other alliance and split off to create a new one… and when they’re new they’ll accept more people.

The WORST thing is not being in an alliance because you get picked on by EVERYONE. At least if you’re in an alliance you have some protection.

The bottom line is you are better off being in an alliance before you come out of BP…but only sometimes. The key is that a day or two before you come out of BP look around within 50 miles from your city. See how you compare in prestige and size to the players around. Some players might be in alliances, so check the alliance details and find out where there based. If there not based in your area or state then these alliance players will be getting no help from there alliance especially in the first month of a new server. The alliance will advise these players to teleport back to there home state to be able to protect them.

So if you have worked hard and built your resources and defences when in BP you really should be ok in your area providing you are on the server from the start. With not being in an alliance coming out of BP you are free to attack anyone and no one can tell you not to. Just do a bit of research into who is the biggest alliance in your state is and do not attack any of there smaller players. Every one else up can use as an NPC.

If your on the server late you might be better joining the strongest alliance in your area if they will have you. If not get a good active alliance that will accept you and teleport to there area until you are ready.

Just to answer another players point above, i have come out of BP

Sorry i didnt get finished above…

Just to answer another players point above, i have come out of BP after 7 days with over 40k prestige. Thats what you should be aiming for unless theres no-one to worry about in your area then you can get out of BP early.

Remember also that alliances can be very handy for sharing resources between players in close proximity. If you can get a group of close alliance players working together in an area sharing resources then this is a great help starting off. So weight up the pro’s and con’s before deciding. It will all depend on whether the area you are in is hostile at the time of leaving BP.
