You need a level 10 Town Hall to advance your military rank to General. You need to be ranked General to advance your title to Earl, Marquis, etc. Since you cannot advance without a level 10 Town Hall your first Michelangelo script should be used for TH 10.  Otherwise TH 10 is probably not as important as Walls 10. After the first TH 10 use your Michelangelo Scripts to create level 10 walls.

    Actually — smart players will use a Michelangelo script on a Rally Spot.

    Why? Because a level 10 Rally Spot will give you just enough extra edge in attacking — 10,000 more troops — to make conquering a level 10 NPC possible relatively early in the game.

    And conquering a level 10 NPC gives you level 10 everything. You make the new Level 10 city your main city and you’re way ahead.

    I think you need at least three… I agree the best for the first one is the Rally Spot. Second, I would go with the walls (depending on your play) as you can be upgrading your walls to lvl 10 in your main city before there is any need to advance to the General rank. Range and a full wall of ATs is more important than building a bunch of cities. Too often I see people building more than they can defend b/c the want the extra resources, but what good are the extra resources if someone is always stealing them? Then I would upgrade my TH to 10 third.

    One problem with making a Lv.10 NPC your main city. It has too many cottages and not enough barracks. If I need to demolish the Lv.10 cottages and replace them with Lv.9 barracks, it partially defeats the whole point of taking it.

    lvl 10 walls. Increased slots for more archer towers, more range for your archers, and more wall durability. Defense is the key. 18k towers makes your city pretty tough to mess with. I would then go lvl 10 rally point. It’s nice having lvl 10 rally point when you are medal farming.

    When your building is level 9 and you click upgrade it will use the Michelangelo Script (if you have one.) If you don’t have one a box will come up and ask you if you’d like to purchase a Michelangelo Script.

    Be careful. If you accidentally click upgrade on a level 9 farm for example it will upgrade it to level 10 and will use your Mich. Script without asking you. It can be very easy to accidentally use it to upgrade the wrong building.

    Catapults are virtually useless they are slow and weak take too long to build archers warriors and scouts seem to be the best and cavalry and cataphracts for loyalty lowering and swords for the archers your enemies have the pikes for taking out other troops too scout bombs are really effective for taking out the archers in other cities too it is smart to invest in all troops except battering rams and catapults. P.S. Ballisae are good for farming for food level fives are the best bang for your buck i use 450 transporters and ballistae each and get 3 million food from it i make several runs a day to keep from losing my troops

    rally spot is always firs, then i go with feasting hall so i can hold more heroes then i go with walls followed by rally spot( i like to port around the map to attack, and it makes reinforcing them faster) after that townhall as far as barracks i never upgrade them until i have spare ones

    some of you are quite wrong on this topic so let me shed some light…

    it is true first MS should be used on rally spot… this allows you to send 100K troops in one wave which becomes vitalvrey quickly if you want to be a successfull attacker.

    second upgrade walls… you will be able to hold more defence units and your city will be a hardsr target to hit

    third feasting hall… with this you are able to send 10 waves and makes loyalty runs quick and easy.

    lastly upgrade your town hall for the extra resource fields.

    keep in mind unless you have 3 Scripts dont bother with a barracks as you need a lv 10 academy and a lv 10 forge to make paults.. lv 10 barracks really only lets you see all the techs and is not much more useful than lv 9.

    Your ms should be used in the following priority:

    Rally spot for either Age: it allows you to launch 100k units at a time and essential to farm and conquer L10 NPCs and to attack other players with the maximum troops without a war ensign. When your armies are large enough in numbers you will need to farm a 10 to keep up with the food upkeep, if you need the title promotion conquer it instead. If you can’t send 100k scouts out at a time then some opponents can’t be scouted. Anyone who puts a priority over this is not a very good player or in a very safe area of the evony world, lesser player, and a non-factor for their alliance.

    Beacon for Age2: when you successfully scout someone strong it will disclose the locations of their colony’s coords and what their suppression settings are. Why should I attack them first and their L10 walls when I can hit their weak colonies with their low level walls and no defenses instead to bleed away their troops? A smart player always scouts their opponents and use their weaknesses against them, I can always hit them and their precious L10 walls after wiping out a majority of their troops at a weaker location on my terms, not theirs.

    Wall for Age1: What rally does for offense is what walls do for defense. When you can squeeze in more arch towers with zero food upkeep to supplement your army to protect your city makes it much harder for others to take you down and out.

    Cottage: For those cities you have already built and want to keep. This will allow you to drop more troops per build cycle. Six L9 cottages is 27050 but if you can have five L10 cottages you’ll have a higher population allowing you to remove a cottage and add another barrack. Very critical in your generator cities which is what all L10 NPCs should be converted too.

    And the other reason as stated above somewhere you can send more waves froom the city as you have a lvl10 feasting hall. good for farming and good for attacking.

    simple it is best to first get ur walls to lvl 10 then rally and then feasting hall to make taking a 10 much cheper and easier 2 citys are plenty to hold off for the begining of the game walls make u stronger rally makes u be able to send out more men and feasting hall make u be able to end out more attacks if u are taking a lvl 10 npc u want to hit as fast as possible

    i would spend my 2 scipt on lv 10 barrack and workshop b/c when u get to this point to upgrade lv 10 stuff u should have every thing to lv8+ and u should finish the donate troop quest . u need catupults to finish the quest and after u finish the quest u will get 4 scipt as an rewardm so use the scirpt it on this 2 first then u will have 4 more to build TH,WALL and i would like to have lv 10 festing hall too b/c having a lv 10 rally spot w/o a festing hall is useless cause u need heros to atk which u have 9 and i think u wont waste a scipt just for using the last spot for scouting ,transporting ,and rein only

    If your worried about hitting general before your th gets to level 10 then your probably spending money and if you are spending money then you will have more scripts than you know what to do with and the priority of what to upgrade first wont matter. so i say

    1. walls
    2. rally
    3 relief station
    4 beacon tower
